Private Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center

Nestled among the rolling hills and stunning landscape of western Pennsylvania, Silvermist offers a tranquil experience of beauty, both indoors and outdoors. You will be asked to find the strength to work hard during your stay in drug and alcohol treatment, and our homelike residences and picturesque 30-acre campus provide an easy setting for inner growth. Whether joining other clients on a nature hike or quietly reflecting in one of the many contemplative spaces throughout our living areas, Silvermist makes it easy to discover your perfect gateway to sobriety.

Silvermist offers three private drug and alcohol treatment center residences for its clients, each uniquely designed to provide a therapeutic experience in the comfort of a home setting:

The Men’s Residence

Our residence for men houses up to nine clients. It features exposed wood beams, soaring high ceilings, and expansive windows that look out to the rest of the stunning Silvermist property, along with well-appointed bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen. A second-floor loft provides the perfect vantage point to overlook the great room while journaling or enjoying a book, and the basement features a movie theater and recreational area.

The Women’s Residence

Formerly an Amish barn built in the 1800s, the women’s residence has been completely redone with modern amenities and houses up to five clients. With a gourmet kitchen, relaxing seating area and comfortable bedrooms, this residence provides a unique and comfortable setting for women to recover together and build a sober community.

The Cabin

The healing process continues during the second phase of treatment at Silvermist, where clients are introduced to some of the independent living skills they will need when they leave. Our rustic log cabin features a stunning loft, bright kitchen and comfortably appointed bedrooms. The log cabin is only steps away from Silvermist’s main residence.

Silvermist Ensures Residents’ Comfort and Serenity

Well-appointed private and semi-private rooms are available. Bedrooms are fully furnished and warmly decorated, and most have a television and a large closet. Some bedrooms boast unique features such as fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows and sitting nooks. Each room of our drug and alcohol treatment center allows you to feel relaxed and comfortable. It is a truly ideal setting for recovery.
